How it works

  1. 1

    Everyone gets a drink

Or a glass of water. Nobody has to drink anything.

  2. 2

    Read the statement out

Anyone who has done it drinks, then tells the story if the group insists.

  3. 3

    Pass the phone

The next player reads the next card. Pick Mild, or turn it up.

A few from the free deck

  • Never have I ever fallen asleep in a public place.
  • Never have I ever walked into a glass door or wall.
  • Never have I ever forgotten someone's name while introducing them.
  • Never have I ever pretended to be on the phone to avoid someone.
  • Never have I ever sent a risky text and immediately wished I could unsend it.

No cards to shuffle, no app to install: open the page on one phone and start. Never Have I Ever mode mixes statements from every intensity, so it stays surprising all night.

Questions

What is After Hours?
After Hours is a free online party and drinking game you play on one phone, passed around the group. It deals questions, dares, drinking rules and Never Have I Ever statements, picks whose turn it is, and gets bolder as the night goes on.
Is After Hours free?
Yes. Mild is free in full, and Medium, Extreme and Never Have I Ever each give you five free cards. Unlock the full deck for $19.99 once, or $4.99 a month.
Do we need to download an app or make an account?
No. After Hours runs in the browser on one phone that you pass around. An account is only needed to buy the full deck or restore it on another device.
How many people can play?
Two or more. Add everyone’s name, and the game picks whose turn it is and who each card points at.
Do we have to drink?
No. Every prompt is optional: skip anything, play with any drink or none, and never pressure anyone. Please drink responsibly.
Who is it for?
Friends at parties, pregames, game nights and anywhere a group wants a night they’ll talk about tomorrow. Players must be of legal drinking age.
What is the best drinking game to play on one phone?
One that runs itself: After Hours picks the player, deals the card and says who drinks, so nobody has to remember rules or shuffle anything. It works for two people or a full house party, and Mild is free with no sign-up.
Can we play without downloading anything?
Yes. Open afterhoursgame.com in any phone browser and start. There is nothing to install, and you can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.
